TEXMiN - IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has partnered with Coal India Limited (CIL) to establish the “Innovation in Mining (IMiN) – Centre of Excellence (CoE)” at CIL HQ, Kolkata. This marks a major step toward India’s Mining 4.0 vision, focusing on innovation, performance evaluation, and sustainable mining technologies.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Sukumar Mishra, Director, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, and Shri P. M. Prasad, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CIL, along with senior dignitaries from both organizations.
The IMiN CoE aims to drive research, skill development, and technology adoption to make India self-reliant and align with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
